Under the hood: Minimal's Technology Platform

Minimal’s hardware is built on our full stack of core technologies, defined by tools we’ve built in-house.

As we build new categories of vehicles, we’ve made the decision to embed them with our own technologies, rather than those of a third party.

The electrical components and softwares that we build in-house ensure that our vehicles operate exactly as intended, purpose-built for the jobs and environments they serve.

As we scale production to entirely new vehicle platforms, and open micro-factories around the world, our Technology Platform will grow too. This ensures there is never a ceiling on what our vehicles can do.

We build:

Electronics. Purpose-built core components, embedded for optimum on-road performance.

Tools. Smart tools built in-house that enable manufacturing at speed with minimal waste.

Software. All Minimal vehicles run on FleetOS, our AI-informed fleet management software.

We apply the same thinking to how we build components and vehicles themselves. Engineering is connected end-to-end by smart software tools we've developed ourselves.

Hardware, tools and software are built by Minimal’s team, for Minimal vehicles.
