Pedal 4 wins Red Dot Design Award

Minimal’s Pedal 4 has won a Red Dot at the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026.

Running since 2005, the Design Concept award sits separate to the rest of the Red Dot programme. It judges concepts, prototypes and ready-for-market projects on design merit alone, assessed by an international jury who take the time to understand the thinking behind a project as well as the object itself.

Cities are being paralysed by inefficient vans. The answer isn't another van, it's a smaller and smarter solution.

Pedal 4 is what happens when you design for that job and nothing else: reimagined vehicle geometry, fewer parts, fewer fastening methods, an exposed zinc-coated steel frame that's the logical result of building only what's needed.

A scale model of Pedal 4 will go on display in Singapore as part of the Red Dot winners' exhibition, which opens at the Red Dot Design Museum after the awarding ceremony on 15 October.

Pedal 4 will also appear in the Red Dot Design Concept Yearbook and the online exhibition.

This is Minimal’s second international design award of 2026, after two wins at BIG SEE in May. We’re proud to be recognised internationally for vehicles designed and made in London.
